Another treat Kat and I came across at Bubble was Indigo, a collection of cashmere childrenswear designed in London. The stand was a beacon of colour with cute cardigans and sweaters with star and heart motifs realised in primary hues.
Cashmere is ideal for babies’ skins as it’s oh so soft and it’s really refreshing to see high-quality knitwear for children not in shades of insipid pastel pinks and blues.
Of course, this kind of luxury does come with a corresponding price tag – hats starting at £30, hoodies and cardigans from £75 and blankets from £135 – but as a gift or for a special occasion it’s well worth it, as these pieces are bound to become heirlooms.
