I am seriously excited because I have tracked down the delectable Tip Toey Joey Shoes which I became an instant fan of when I saw them at Bubble London in early July.
Made in Brazil from beautiful soft leather in a variety of delectable colours and styles, these are aimed at every parent who has spent hours hunting for shoes and lives in fear of having to resort to Clarks.
Suitable for pre and early walkers (although they do go up to 24 months), these shoes are hot, hot, hot, with Mary Jane, t-bar, and demi trainer styles, and trainers. Each pair features an exclusive ‘stretchy heel’ that make it a doddle to put them on but they don’t come off easily. They have non-slip rubber soles and velcro fastenings.
Tip Toey Joey are really popular in the US and Australia and are worn by full on walkers elsewhere, but according to those that sell them here, us English folk are very wary of buying shoes for full on walkers that don’t have a ‘Clarks’ style sole. That hasn’t stopped them gathering a little following here though and I have seen these babies in the flesh and trust me, these are truly stunning first shoes to pounce on!
I’ve seen them for as much as £28 each online but I of course found better deals!
£18.50 in sizes from 3 to 24 months at Bird. Also check out Lottie & Thomas.
Funky Joe where they have 6 styles all reduced to £15.40
