I’m in the market for nursery shelving and found some good options at Verbaudet.
A favourite is this Boys Guitar Wall Shelf, although I can’t see why it’s in the ‘boys’ category. Girls can be rockstars too, no? £19.
Because Verbaudet is a fab site, I will forgive it for rather spuriously (in my eyes) dividing up its stock for girls and boys – another example being the Girls Tubular Wall Shelf with coloured nobbles, which would also do the job perfectly for a little boy. £26.
Of course I got distracted from my shelf hunt and found myself eyeing up other nursery furniture, such as this Boys Cupboard on Castors. At £115 it’s not cheap, but the open shelving means it doubles as a display area which makes the price easier to justify. Kind of.
This Girls One Door Cupboard also caught my eye for the mesh frontage, grown-up taupe colour and clean lines. £118.
While engrossed in browsing nursery furniture we don’t need, I also chanced upon a couple of desirable lunchtime accessories. There’s nothing like swanky bowls for helping to alleviate the daily grind of prepping, serving and cleaning up food. The BEABA Soft Lunchbox And Accessories is tidy and practical for when you’re feeding on the hop, £15. Also in the BEABA range, this cute Cutlery Set in similar bright shades. £8.
