Just a quick one in the run up to 31 October. We’re a little too young for trick or treating this Halloween, but that doesn’t mean Alfie doesn’t love this goody bag (see smiley face while clutching it below – apologies for blurry pic) from the ever-fabulous workshop of designer Helen Rawlinson – it’s currently providing a home for his Brio trains.
And, of course, I love it, because I’m an owl fanatic. If you’re not (what’s wrong with you?), choose from a  skull and crossbones, black cat or a cheeky-looking pumpkin for £4.50 a pop. A fab alternative to a plastic treat bag that can be reused year after year. Be ideal for a treat bag for a small, selective party crowd, too.
