Today I am going to be waxing lyrical about Muddy Puddles kids’ skiwear because we really do love it. Back in 2013, I purchased a 4-year-old Lola a Muddy Puddles coat for her winter jacket. It's still doing the rounds now - handed down to her brother and then on to some friends. Lo was always warm, dry and happy in that coat and over the years Muddy Puddles has been our go to, reasonably regularly, for all things outdoors!
We're off skiing again this Easter* (It's our favourite time to go!) and Finn (6) no longer fits into last season's ski gear. Like many kids, Finn has a few things he can't be doing with when it comes to clothes so I gave him free rein on the Muddy Puddles store to pick an outfit he loved. He opted for:
Snow Flurry Thunderbolt Ski Socks
£14 (Because Harry Potter!)
Muddy Puddles came up goods and I have a a very happy ski bunny! Muddy Puddles is designed to keep little skiers age 0 to 12 warm, dry and protected. Although Finn can ski beuatifully so doesn't spend too much time on his butt, he is also partial to playing in the snow and that's when decent ski gear, like what you get from Muddy Puddles, comes in to its own. You'll find bright and bold kids’ ski jackets, snowsuits and salopettes to baselayers, goggles, hats and gloves. Their waterproof, windproof and breathable ski outerwear is designed with the the must have features such as zip-off snowskirt, removable hood and ski pass holder. You'll be suprised how many ski jackets miss that simple requirement!
These ski jackets are quality coats, also briliiant as winter coats and as a British brand, they like to consider themselves rain experts! If all that's not enough to get you hot footing it over to their website, perhaps the huge sale they have on (over 50% off ski wear) and Finn's happy ski face will convince you!
* Easter skiing is great. Longer days. Warmer. Easier for the kids with regards to layering up etc. Just choose the right resort. If you'd like my recommendations, do leave a comment. This Easter we are going to La Plagne with Ski Collection, last Easter we went to Les 2 Alpes with Peak Retreats.
