Kat and I are big fans of Famille Summerbelle, the brilliant design duo and married couple, Simon and Julie, who do distinctive, whimsical, decorative pieces for children such as family trees, cushions, wallpaper, prints including ABC and numbers posters, and now, to celebrate their first birthday, a delicious paper banner and charming adhesive ribbon tapes.
Every piece is carefully designed and captures a warm family feeling and childhood innocence. Kat’s already beaten me to the checkout and has pounced on the owl and mushroom hand-cut tissue paper banner which is £20, although I am loving their octopus and children decorated adhesive ribbons which can be used for a multitude of tasks such as bordering, decoration, packaging, or even decorating furniture which is what I shall be using some of it for. £8.50.
Oh and did I mention that they’re offering free delivery to anywhere in the world to celebrate their first birthday? Oh and whilst you’re there, they also have a great deal where you can buy three of their prints for £45 (normally £60).
