I spent ages looking for this clip on the web after I saw my friends. She picked it up in New York and didn’t think they were available in the UK but I found it at Goldbug Europe.
If you’re like me and the basket underneath your pushchair is simply not big enough for your shopping habit this is the perfect tool.
The Mummy Hook (also known as The Mummy Clip), is an oversized carabina clip but strictly not for climbing. You clip it onto your pushchair handle and hey presto it’s a place to hang your shopping bags once the basket’s filled up. It’s easy to take on and off and I think it looks quite cool in an outdoorsy type of way. Rather handily, you don’t have to lift the bags off the clip to put them in the car or take them in the house – you can remove them all together with the clip and one side is cushioned for comfort.
Just don’t overload or you could find your whole pushchair falling over backwards! It does say it can take up to a hefty 34kg though!
