There’s been some windy old weather lately, so I’ve been thinking about kites. Flying a kite is one of those things that (when it works) is just as magical whether you’re a child or grown-up. You can spend a fortune on amazing sports kites, but as a reasonably priced entry level kite, you’d be hard pressed to beat the Ecoflyer. It’s made from silk and bamboo, so eco-friendly and, big selling point, your child can colour it in themselves with the six felt tips provided, so yours will be completely unique. Choose from Butterfly, Bee, Dragonfly or Eagle, a snip at £5.95 each, from Happy Cactus. I have also spotted a pterodactyl version on some sites, which would be worth searching for if you have a budding paleontologist on your hands.
