When I happened upon Easybelts I had one of those ‘Now why didn’t I think of that’ moments. If you’re the owner of a small boy, you’ll be all too familiar with shouting, ‘Pull your trousers up, I can see your pants.’ Having tried snake belts (too fiddly) and those jangly metal clasp ones (too pinchy) I was kind of resigned to just hitching Alfie’s trousers up every now and then, but Easybelts have come to my rescue.
The concept is so simple – a strip of canvas which pulls through a D-ring and fastens with Velcro. They come in a range of plain colours or stripes at £6 each or with appliqued designs for £7. Alfie loves his because he can manage it himself and I don’t have to look at pants any more. Result!
PS: They’re also available for adults who might have difficulty with fastenings.
