Bibaloo have a great website choc full of French designer goodies for children aged 0-4. Here are my two favourite coats from their coat section:
Miniman ‘Very British navy blue coat’
This (pictured above) may be a French coat but they’ve given it the Brit touch in the detail. It has a hint of ‘school’, a hint of ‘duffel’, and a hint of ‘anorak’ and has a fab red and blue check lining, London theme badge-type buttons on the left pocket, and a detachable hood. There’s button and cuff detail on the sleeves and the pockets are nice and deep. Wool mix. Available in 2 and 4 years. £85
Berlingot ‘Cocon de poesie’ baby coat
Judging by how cold it is today, I reckon we’re in for a loooong, coooold winter and this coat which acts like a cocoon may be just the ticket. It’s in an unusual colour that looks like a dusky pink or ‘beige rose’ which is a warmer tone than baby pink. It’s made from fine corduroy called ‘milleraies’ and lined on the inside with cream jersey cotton. It has a little doudou bird nesting in the front pocket, a bubble hem, and an elasticated waistband for a great fit. In sizes 9 and 12 months. £44
