Dydd Gŵyl Dewi Hapus! (That’s Happy St David’s Day in case you were wondering.) Today, lots of Welsh people will be sporting leeks or daffodils, eating Welsh cakes and generally celebrating the rich culture of Wales. It’s also a lovely excuse to indulge in some spring crafts with your little ones. There’s not much more cheerful than a sunny yellow daffodil, so here are some crafty ideas from a few of our favourite blogs using things you’re likely to have around the house. First up, these bright and beautiful cake case and button creations from Mum in the Mad House – so simple, but effective.
An oldie, but a goodie – Mr Printables egg carton daffs could be made into bunting for a spring party. Just add paints, glue and egg boxes.
Nurture Store‘s suncatchers are just fab and look even better in a ‘bunch’. You’ll just need yellow and green card (or paint some white card), tissue paper and the ubiquitous sticky backed plastic.
