Now this is a useful bit of kit. Anyone who’s ever travelled with a baby will know that you need a LOT of stuff – body wash, baby balm, nappy cream, Calpol, sleep balm… the list goes on. I found that my skincare products often got pushed out of the washbag and, god only knows, your skin needs every bit of extra help when it’s sleep deprived. Cuddledry’s Baby & Me washbag, £24.99, is a great idea – a decently sized bag with one side for you and the other for your little one. Each side (they have colour-coded zips) has wet and dry sections and bags of space for all manner of tubs and bottles, even tall ones, plus two BPA-free refillable bottles, ideal for holidays. And, of course, the inside and outside are both wipe clean, so won’t be ruined by the inevitable spills. I like the way the zips go all the way around, reducing the need for rummaging and I don’t think this is limited to use with the smallest members of the family either – I’m going to use one side for my lotions and potions and the other for suncreams, after sun and insect repellents etc, when we go away in the summer.
