I didn’t think I’d succumb to getting Crocs for the girls but found that they became essential as a substitute for wellies during the summer as they weather everything including when you get trapped outside a theatre with hundreds of panicked people during a torrential storm at Disneyworld and have to walk (correction: wade) through several inches of water…
After seething at her sister’s purple clogs, Nia (2) was sent a pair of the Crocs Chameleons to check out at the start of the summer. Basically same clog concept except for that these pairs feature patent-pending technology that sees them changing colour when exposed to sunlight. Depending on which style of Croc you’d normally buy, they’re at least £12 more. Nia loves hers but I do think it’s slightly older children that will appreciate and notice the colour change. As well as the two colourways shown, they come in pink lemonade and oyster.
£34.99 from Crocs.
