I adored babywearing, particularly using woven wraps (I still can’t bear to part with the beautiful star print Kokadi wrap I used with Kitty). Yes, they tend to be expensive, but if you consider that you’re effectively wearing them every day and they usually have great resale value, then the cost can be justified. Feather & Hay (the name was inspired by founder Georgina’s countryside upbringing) design, make and sell exquisite wraps, each hand-woven in Somerset. There’s no denying that they’re not cheap (prices start at £280), but, wow, are they gorgeous – I have all the heart eyes for the rainbow weaves. You can also commission a bespoke design, choosing your own fibres, colours and weaves, but you’ll need to book a slot well in advance.
