I was sent the link to this very cool trailer for a new feature film called ‘Babies’, a documentary that follows four babies in four different locations around the world (Namibia, Japan, US, and Mongolia ) by French filmmaker Thomas Balmes. Totally not the type of thing I’d expect to be interested in, the trailer in itself is fascinating and humourous and I’m eager to see the full film which sought to explore what the differences are between how children are raised in different places and cultures. The two babies having a run-in over an empty water bottle reminded me of my own feisty pair, especially Miss super-assertive Nia.
If anyone knows what the release date is for this (I suspect it’s in the next month or so as it’s been released in the US), do let us know.
