When I went along to see Stuck last week I saw that they were also showing The Incredible Book Eating Boy an adaptation byBootworks Theatre Collective.
Unlike most book to stage adaptations this production doesn’t try to stretch out the story – it is a five minute show rich with humour, action and music. Much like the book itself, the show is made of layers of media including puppets, projection, music and actors all coming together to create an experience which reflects the original art.
It’s aimed at children aged 4 – 7 and is touring throughout the Autumn. You can find details of their tour dates via the Google Calendar on their homepage.
