New mamas are really spoiled for choice when it comes to baby skincare these days – there are so many fabulous brands embracing the need to keep products for delicate skins completely natural. Welsh company Celtic Herbal has recently launched their Baby & Mum range, comprising Nappy Cream, £8.99, Baby Massage Oil, £9.98, Baby Soap, £4.50, and Nourishing Massage Oil for Mum, £9.98. All the products are free from sulphates, parabens, chemical preservatives, petroleum and palm oil, instead using coconut oil and sweet almond oil and calming lavender, camomile and calendula, all handmade in Wales. There’s also a collection for children and teenagers, called Gwdihw (which is Welsh for owl and pronounced Goody Hoo), which features an array of balms (hand, foot, lip, sleep, skin and nail) in cute, colourful tins adorned with Emlyn the owl. Kitty absolutely adores the Honey & Lemon Smoochy Lips balm, £4, and I feel happier knowing she’s using a 100% natural product, rather than something petroleum-based. We’ve also been trying the Night Owl Sleep Aid Balm, £4.49, which does strangely seem to induce calm with its divine smell. Which can only be a good thing.
