BunnyEars.tv is an online TV station for children aged 3+. Founded by Judy Blumstock who grew up in Hungary where the only cartoons were shown at bedtime. When faced with her own sleep-resistant child she set out to bring back some of the cartoons of her childhood to see if that would help. Each Wednesday new cartoons are uploaded to the site which can be enjoyed for one week before being replaced. In this world of relentless children’s TV it is a welcome retreat to simpler times.
Although we are not big TV watchers in this house every now and again Milla will watch a little something from YouTube which I have tracked down for her. BunnyEars.tv takes the effort out of this exercise and always seems to have something which makes me smile. This week had an episode of Bagpuss (hands down, my favourite show as a kid) which I may have watched alone *ahem*.The FAQ on the site said visitors from the UK were unable to view but I have had no problem so far. They have launched a play section to the site today which currently has a video of donkeys to count. What’s not to love?
