The annual arts extravaganza that is Brighton Festival kicks off with the always-fabulous Children’s Parade on Saturday. There are always loads of events specifically for children and families, but this year the curator is Michael Rosen so there’s even more on offer. Check out all the events here – highlights for the under fives promise to be The Great Enormo and Flathampton. Meanwhile, over at the Brighton Fringe, there are myriad delights, including a pyjama party with the wonderful Music for Aardvarks and an unusual performance of Oliver Jeffers’ The Incredible Book Eating Boy by Bootworks Theatre. Get booking quickly though as events (particularly weekend ones) sell out fast. See you there!
