I’ll readily admit to having a fetish for Bold & Noble’s strikingly modern screen prints – their Creatures A-Z was the first artwork I bought for our nursery (having cunningly persuaded Jane to make it in Poppy Red for me), closely followed by Birds Around Britain in Azure Blue. They look fabulous in pale wooden frames against the white walls and have proved very popular with the little one. So I was delighted to hear about their latest collection last month and even more pleased to find eight new designs on the site. There are nature-themed and nostalgic prints in muted tones that would complement the most grown-up of rooms, but it’s Mammals Around Britain, £38, that I’m lusting after for baby’s room (things always seem better in threes, don’t you think?) – the animals are amazing (check out the cute badger) and I just love that green. Another one to add to the wish list…
