I do love the level of thought that goes into theming each collection of Spanish label Bobo Choses. For spring/summer, we welcome A Legend, which features pieces inspired by sporting heroes and their disciplines. The accompanying book tells the stories of some sporting legends, from Olympic gold medal winners swimmer Johnny Weissmuller and high jumper Dick Fosbury (of flop fame) to the people’s champions Eric ‘the eel’ Moussambani and the Jamaican bobsleigh team. Oversized sweats printed with sport-themed motifs (think shuttlecocks, names of sports stars and basketballs) sit alongside crisp cotton dresses and mesh skirts in a muted vintage palette with pops of occasional kelly green, cobalt and tomato.
