You know how much I love a new childrenswear brand, so I’m excited to share this fab find with you. Beech is a new clothing label based in London, specialising in cool, colourful pieces for active kids. Made from light, breathable fabrics with UV protection, the collection comprises tops, tees, polos and hoodies in a vibrant palette with motifs representing popular sports and leisure activities (Alfie was a bit gutted there wasn’t anything cricket-themed yet) such as rollerskating, cycling, basketball, skateboarding, hockey, tennis, scootering and football.
I love the detailing – the ‘Ready to Ride’ bicycle-print tee has a cropped swing shape with a cut out at the back while long-sleeved tops feature thumb holes and concealed pockets. Beech kindly gave us a couple of items to try – I enjoyed the contrasting colours – a pleasant change from the usual grey, black and navy kids’ sportswear – and Kitty said they felt lovely against her skin and they’ve been worn again and again. The tops also wash really well, so I have no doubt they’ll stand the test of time. Prices start from £25 – all items available from Beech with free shipping and no quibble returns. And here’s a treat for you: BG readers can grab 25% discount on all purchases using the code BEECH at checkout.
