I have to admit I am a Gap lover and I had a good wander through the store on Oxford Street yesterday where it appeared that hungry shoppers seemed to have snapped up all of the sale stuff. The shame of it not leaving any for me!
There wasn’t much going on in the boys section which had a lot of their preppy, rugger bugger style gear, although there is a lot of navy and green across both collections. My favourite was this Striped Ruffle Shirt Dress £14.50 which mixes preppy and delicate to perfection. It has flutter sleeves, a ruffled bib front with fake collar and a three ruffle rows around the hem of the dress. Naturally this should be accessorised with sandals or when the weather isn’t quite so warm, put this on over skinny jeans or leggings.
Annoyingly Gap doesn’t sell online in the UK and when I went to their US site, I was drooling over their baby bedding….boo hiss!
