A few days ago I received a bottle of new ethical baby brand Baby Boo Organics organic citrus baby wash to try out.
They’re a range of Soil Association certified baby skincare products that range between being 70-80% organic. As it’s a bit of a grey area when it comes to organic skincare products (they don’t have the same regulations as food so someone can claim their product is organic with only one organic ingredient), it’s very reassuring when the Soil Association has certified a product that goes on your baby’s skin.
The range is without synthetic fragrances or parabens, has been dermalogically tested, and are cocooned in recyclable bottles. They’re also suitable for vegans.
The citrus babywash had a subtle, zesty aroma that’s really pleasant without being overwhelming or sneezy. I think that because it doesn’t have synthetic enhancements to the fragrance, it doesn’t cling so I’d suggest using the moisturiser if you want the subtle fragrance to last over the day. I tried it out on myself too and it didn’t dry out mine or the bambino’s skin. This is definitely a brand that we’ll try out a few more products from.
Ethical Superstore are selling some of the shampoos, body washes, and body lotions which are all £4.95 each.
