When I heard that designer and maker of all things fabulous made from muslin Aden + Anais had branched out, I became curious about their Serenity Star, a sleep system and feeding diary combined.
As it doesn’t include a baby monitor, this could be considered a gadget buy, although nonetheless a handy one. It records the last feeding time and if you’re breastfeeding, whether it was left or right side; it’s a sound machine, so it has a couple of lullabies, white noise and a heartbeat which can be played in 30/60 second intervals or continuously, and then there’s the room temperature which glows different colours to indicate if the room is above, below, or at the ideal temperature, plus it’s a nightlight as well.
At £64.95, you may hesitate if you’re needing to buy a monitor as well, but if like many parents you’ve got a hand-me-down monitor and would like some extra features plus would have bought a nightlight, this will appeal.
