Teachers. They really are blooming great, aren't they? God knows, I get exasperated by my two small people from time to time, but they often have 30 of them to look after, day in day out, and are expected to actually educate them as well. So, not only do they fully deserve those long holidays, but also a little show of appreciation at the end of the year. We recommend gift vouchers (restaurants, wine shop or pampering are always popular with our teachers) and a handmade card, but here are ten fantastic little extras to take in on the last day of term.

Wow London personalised pen pot, £8, Etsy.

DIY glitter apple tote bag, instructions from Purely Katie.

Teaching is my superpower badge, £1.50, Bambino Goodies.

The Bespoke Workshop plant topper, from £7.50, Etsy.

Not on the High Street.

DIY G&T hamper – gin, tonic, limes, measure, stirrer and even glasses in a cool box or basket.

Left it all a bit too late? Our printable Star Teacher cards, 95p, are here to help.

This is a great idea for a class or staff room gift. Biscuit tin with iced biscuits, £40, Biscuiteers.
