My two aren’t crazy about chocolate (and I’m not crazy about sugar rushes), so we try to find alternative Easter gifts for them and their cousins, as we usually spend the weekend with them. I always find a trip to Tiger Stores fruitful – this year’s bounty includes the most beautiful tin eggs with monochrome Deco-style patterns – just £1 each. I’ve filled the tins with a badge, tattoo, spitting frog, star crayon and rubber and popped them into Smafolk drawstring bags along with a decorate an egg sticker kit each. Like a mini stocking – all for about £8 each. Here are some fabulous stand-alone gifts if you fear the chocolate mountain!
