10 Best: No-carve pumpkins for Halloween

October 20, 2015. Leave a Comment

Fed up with the mess and constant one-upmanship of pumpkin carving at Halloween? Fear not – we’ve searched the web for ten suitably stylish ways to pimp your pumpkin without getting the knives out. Click the links for detailed methods.

Glitter-dipped pumpkin

Glitter dipped by Studio DIY. Spray paint, apply glue, then dip. Simple!

Monochrome by Martha Stewart. Paint, then decorate with sponge stamp – also instructions for a striped reverse.

Hole punch confetti by Alice & Lois. So simple, but effective. Just requires a hole punch, paper and glue.

Sharpie sugar skull owl by Lil Blue Boo. A Sharpie and a steady hand yields amazing results.

Foliage decoupage by Poppytalk. One for nature lovers (and another way to use the pile of leaves on the craft table!)

Glow-in-the-dark by Jaderbomb at I Love to Create. How great would these look outside the front door on Halloween night?

Drip art by The Imagination Tree. Help the children live out their wildest fantasies by letting them loose with squeezy paint bottles.

Neon-dipped by A Night Owl. Paint, dip and tip for these 80s-tastic designs.

Yarn wrapped by Two Shades of Pink. One for the more homespun craft lovers among you – switch it up with bright or metallic thread.

Nail polish by Mango & Tomato. At last! A use for that ill-advisedly bought cobalt nail polish. Hurrah!

Are you planning an alternative pumpkin? Share a photo over on our Facebook page. Happy Halloween!
