I don’t know about you, but I’m really feeling the winter chill this week. Hats have been dug out from the back of the wardrobe, I’ve stocked up on wood for the fire and I’ve been scouring the web for some new slippers (the dog took a liking to half of my last pair). Then I realised I need to get Alfie and Kitty kitted out too, as toasty toes are so crucial in creating cheery children. Here are a few of my favourite finds.

Welsh merino wool and sheepskin slippers, £22, Pili Pala. Come in a cool box, so an ideal gift.
