Dressing up is an important part of Camp Bestival and this year’s theme is The Wild. It’s open to interpretation, but we’re thinking all things nature-related, with animals being the most obvious choice for little ones. Here are a few ideas if you haven’t already made your own (we know you lot love a bit of craft!) – masks, tails, headdresses and capes are good ways to transform wriggling or reluctant dresser uppers.

Animalesque peacock headdress, £39.50, Shop BG. Obviously, we’re biased, but we think Sara Lowes’ headdresses are amazing. I’ll be sporting my gold owl around the festival.
Findlay fox felt headband and tail, £19.95, Sew Heart Felt. Wouldn’t be the wild without a fantastic fox.
Limited-edition chameleon tail, £35, Tell Tails. Subtle but effective (and great for swinging around).
Numero 74 Woodland cape, £95, Smallable. Yes, it’s an investment piece, but will double as something to keep them warm when the evening chill sets in.
Ratatam tiger dress up, £80, Anthropologie. See above.
Oeuf NYC cheetah mask and tail, £42, Shak-Shuka. The teeny nose mask is even more adorable on.
Travis Forest Fairy dress, £34.99, Honeyjam. An outdoorsy twist on the the princess dress.
Seedling Design Your Own Butterfly Wings, £16.99, Tinder and Tide. For budding artists, this is one to add your own personal touch to.
Opposite of Far zebra mask and tail, £30, The Wee Department Store. Can’t beat a classic zebra dress up for monochrome chic.
Felt bird mask, €25, Ateliers Reinette. Another bit of felt magic from this French label.
