I am completely head over heels in love with Anthony Burrill‘s posters featuring woodblock-printed aspirational slogans on recycled paper, signed by the artist. I think that Make Your Mark in the World and Think of Your Own Ideas in particular would make fabulously unusual artworks for a child’s rooms. And, at £33.50 each, including p&p, they’re affordable to boot. Other messages include Let The Birds Sing, Work Hard and Be Nice To People and I Like It, But What Is It?
If you’ve got a bit of cash to spare, it’s worth checking out the rest of his portfolio. Limited-edition (there are just 30 of each) hand-embossed silkscreen prints, Sunlight and Moonbeam are both to die for, but weigh in at a less wallet-friendly £206.50 each.
