These exotic, arty masks by Marrakech based company Zid Zid Kids are certainly a step up from your typical kids masks. The beautiful, exotic illustrations are by Julie Klear, one half of the designer couple behind the brand that’s become known for its striking, imaginative products. Taking inspiration from Morocco, they’re made by Moroccan artisans who print the illustrations on robust recycled cardboard for heavy use. Certainly masks for getting lost in their imaginations roaming the jungle and wilding up their dressing up sessions, these make great party pieces if your child has to go to a fancy dress party. Naturally they’ll also make great stocking fillers. €9.95 each at Shak-Shuka where there’s also a giraffe, plus if you want to go all out, you can get them with a fancy cape, although they’re €64.99 for the sets.
