We’ve had Ewan the Dream Sheep and Lulla Doll, now say hello to Whisbear, the Humming Bear, the latest baby sleep aid on the market. Made from super-soft Velboa fabric, with sensory elements in his ears and paws, Whisbear makes a soft humming noise, much like a hair drier, to soothe babies to sleep. It starts with 40 minutes of shushing, then when the baby is asleep, the sound fades away and he goes into standby mode. The Crysensor function means that if the baby wakes up crying, it will switch on again for 20 minutes. Should hopefully save you from having to constantly run your own hair drier as I did with Alfie (no, a white noise CD didn’t cut it). He has magnets in his pawas which means you can attach him easily to a cot. Suitable from birth, Whisbear costs £49.99, but surely a good night’s sleep is priceless!
