When we go camping I tend to take a bag of basic craft materials with me just in case of extremes of weather (rain or intense sun). On our last trip, we whittled sticks, wrapped them with wool and attached feathers to make arrows/wands, next time I’ll definitely be trying some nature weaving. You just need three or four sticks to make a frame, wool to tie them together and make the loom, then natural bits to weave into it – grasses, leaves, flowers, seeds, twigs, bark, feathers, anything you can find.
