I’d like to think it’s not just me who has a bag of single gloves hanging in the hallway, hoping to eventually be reunited with their partners. Kitty tends to get cold hands, particularly when she’s scooting (always), but rarely comes back from anywhere with a full pair. She was recently lucky enough to be sent a pair of WarMMuffs to try – a completely ingenious idea from 7AM Enfant comprising insulated, fleece-lined mitts that attach directly onto the scooter handlebars with Velcro, so are unlikely to fly off/disappear into the ether (yay!) Originally developed for parents pushing buggies, the kids’ versions come in two sizes: small (two to six years) and large (six plus) and three colours: black, metallic blue and neon pink. There are so many scooter accessories out there at the moment, your little one’s Micro wouldn’t be able to get much momentum if it had them all, but I’d say these are really worth it. They seem expensive at £25 a pair, but, to be honest, I’ve probably spent more than that replacing lost mittens over the past couple of years and I still have both of them, so it’s an investment. Kitty also likes to wear them on her feet around the house as ‘ice skates’ – dual purpose!
