I love, love, love this idea, as spotted by Kat. Essentially the Tukluk is a foam triangle with a removable fabric cover that can be joined to other Tukluks through the power of magnets on its edges. Designed by Benedikt Kirsch and Katharina Schildge in Austria and manufactured in the EU, they really are things of wonder. At €75 per triangle (plus €19 p&p to the UK) you couldn’t call them cheap, especially as I reckon you need at least three to make a playmat or cave, and preferably six to construct a cool little house/wigwam/hidey hole. There are ten colours to choose from and you can mix and match according to your taste or room scheme. If money’s no object you really could create amazing playspace – check out a few of the different permutations in the gallery.
