We have a bit of cabin fever in our home due to the lock-in caused by the snow, which means we’ll have to ramp up the activities for the bambino so that we can keep her occupied…and we don’t lose our minds! Snow or not, finding things to do with your toddler is not always easy, but thankfully the Kids Craft Weekly newsletter exists.
Aussie mum Amber and her two daughters, do plenty of crafts to keep themselves occupied and every week, she takes a selection of the craft ideas, normally by theme, and puts out an email newsletter plus you can access all of the previous newsletters on the site. Most of the ideas can be done with bits and bobs around the home or craft goodies that you already have. They’re toddler friendly, educational, a great way of stimulating their creativity, and cheap. There are also free printable projects as well craft-along packs, $4 each and printable mini books full of even more craft inspiration from $5-$8.
If you don’t fancy yourself as being that creative or are looking for a steady stream of inspiration, Kids Craft Weekly is a great little hotspot.
I’ll be looking for lots more ‘things to do’ resources and ideas. If you have any suggestions, ping me a mail to features [at] bambinogoodies.co.uk
