There’s little more appealing to little ones exploring books than pop-ups. The very best examples are nothing short of works of art and That’s My Hat! by Anouck Boisrobert and Louis Rigaud (Thames & Hudson, RRP £14.95) is definitely that. The pop ups are created from 10 geometrical patterns and are intricate and amazing. But it’s not a case of style over substance – the story of a little boy desperately searching for his lost hat and visiting a series of different shops and sights in the process is engaging and sure to be adored by small people.
