Kitty had some happy post last week – a signed copy of the latest Belle & Boo book Hop Along Boo, Time for Bed by Mandy Sutcliffe (Hachette, RRP £10.99). We really enjoy the Belle & Boo books – the vintagey illustrations are so sweet, the stories always have a positive message and young children can easily relate to the friendship between little girl Belle and her beloved, mischievous toy rabbit, Boo. This is no exception – a gentle bedtime story that transports our two protagonists into a dream world of cowboys, pirates, fairies and… elephants! Really lovely.
