This is Kitty’s current obsession. And it’s not hard to see why. At the Animal Ball by Ella Bailey (Ivy Press, RRP £12.99) is a beautiful board book that allows you to mix and match animals, dressed in their best dancing outfits. They are accompanied by calls to action, also mix and match, to encourage your little one to try new dance moves (‘Can you flutter a fan…’ ‘And wiggle your hips’), so it’s probably not the most ideal bedtime story. Lots of fun to be had.
