The Hippo, the Rhino, the Elephant and Me iPad app

You know an app is good when you download it on to the iPad Mini and then promptly forget about it, only to check what your three year old is playing a few days later to find her happily working through the story. Lola loves this app. The Hippo, the Rhino, the Elephant and Me is the story of a girl and her three animal friends and it’s nicely interactive. You can ‘draw’ pictures, play instruments and help tidy up. You can have the story read to you, or read it yourself – I’ve read it to Lola as her bedtime story a few times to her delight. £2.49, The App Store.
