In times gone by, when I used to be awake at 1 am on a Saturday night, it’s because I was partying it up, but this past Saturday I was icing a cake for the first time and drawing Lola’s (yes of Charlie & Lola) face on it because the inspiration behind this blog, Saria, otherwise known as ‘the bambino’ turned two on Sunday. We’re all still recovering as who knew that parties for 2 year olds were so exhausting! I will be putting up some posts about party related stuff for toddlers because I have learned a lot in the past few days!
Her party dress is by Brit label I Love Gorgeous RRP £52, a gift from ‘Uncle Titty’ (she can’t say Richie…). We got ours locally from a local boutique, Bow Butterfly. The shoes are by Zara Kids, £28 which we had to buy on Saturday after the pair of silver Tip Toey Joey’s which we got from Monsters & Munckins were sadly too small for her.
We had a brilliant time and even though we should have finished at 5pm, the last guests left just before 8! She’s still opening gifts but aside from her beloved Charlie & Lola gear, Glamorous Gran got her a slide and trampoline, and she got the wooden barbecue from Habitat amongst other delights. I will have to do a gifts roundup!
