Thank you so much for all the love and feedback on our first Skiing with Kids post. It really does warm the cockles when you write in and leave comments letting us know something is useful and when you share your finds with us! Next in our series we are going to be focussing on some gear we love. First up is the snow boots. These are a must have whether you're skiing or not. It's a level-up from the welly and kids (and adults!) love them!
When investing in a pair of snow boots you need to ensure that they're warm and waterproof but also comfortable with good grip (you don't want little people slipping!). Kids’ feet, of course, grow very quickly, but if you have siblings or friends with younger kids, definitely factor in the hand-me-down potential of a snow boot.
Below are some of our favourites. We've included some budget, some blow-the-budget and a good assortment in between! The likes of Alex & Alexa and Little Skiers have a huge range in, so do go and browse. Most of those featured come in a number of colourways too.

Last winter both my kids had The North Face snowboots and loved them. Lola's grown out of hers and will be passed. They're so durable with a wipe down they look brand new! Finn's will see him through this winter. I've purchased Lola some Moon Boots because they're just so glorious and give me a good dose of nostalgia! I used to love mine. The very first time I went skiing I had a pair of brown and red Moon Boots which I picked up super cheaply at TK Maxx ( I just checked, they don't have any at the moment). Phil and I both have Sorel snow boots - we love them a lot - and they're going to last for years so well worth the investment. What are you wearing? Spotted a pair we missed and you know we'd love?
