As any seasoned skier will know, being dressed for all weathers starts with a base layer!
As we prep for the forthcoming ski season (we have booked to go to La Plagne with Ski Collection) and the UK winter, we have just added some Polarn O. Pyret thermal baselayers to the kids’ collection.
Their 100% merino thermal baselayers are soft against the skin which is a total win. I love merino but my kids normally moan it’s itchy but they didn’t with these and both kept them on after they were asked to try them on! Result.
Wool is a natural way to regulate body temperature as it breathes, wicking moisture away from the skin making it perfect for winter activities. The tops from P.OP run longer on the back so keep lower back warm and don’t rise during activity. They’re naturally anti-odour, antibacterial and non-allergenic but machine washable!
The range consists of long johns, tops, bodysuits, neck warmers, hats and socks. They cover all ages from 0-12 and most have been labels with the Responsible Wool Standard – meaning high standards in animal care, ecological farming and ethical production have been met. Prices start from £7 for socks, and £45 for the nordic baby all in one. And, I am sure plenty of you will be pleased to read this, the blue and grey striped version is available for adults! Head over to P.OP and stock up, after all, winter is coming!
