Shapes That Roll by Karen Nagel and Steve Wilson

I was browsing through the deliciously rainbow coloured latest issue of LMNOP when this book literally jumped off the page screaming buy me!!

Shapes That Roll is illustrated by Steve Wilson who also illustrated Lines That Wiggle the book works on a similar premise, this time exploring the different properties of shapes. The narrative is rhythmic and has a sense of humour. The book also contains a glossary of different shapes at the back. This appeals to me on so many levels: visually, lyrically and as a means of discovery and exploration. I fully expect it to sell out as it is a bookshelf gem.
