I still get excited when I discover new childrenswear label, particularly when it’s British and as cool as this one. Shapes of Things is a unisex clothing brand for 0 to nine year olds designed by Jamie Bruski Tetsill and made in Glasgow. Monochrome mamas rejoice in the neutral palette of black, white and grey, given a quirky contemporary twist with the addition of geometric vinyl shapes in gloss, metallic and holographic prints. The collection comprises babygros, £24, vests, £20, bibs, £14, t-shirts, from £17, and sweats, £30, plus totes for us mamas, from £15. The clothes are not only striking to look at but practical and comfy too – Alfie has barely taken his sweat off, it’s so soft and cosy. Definitely one to watch.
