COVETABLE The elegant Nuna Leaf Rocker, £160, will look great in any room. It provides a gentle side-to-side movement and can also be locked in a stationary position for feeding or playtime. No batteries, no noise, just a gentle push and it will swing smoothly. It also features a three-point padded harness with adjustable Velcro straps and a 100% organic cotton insert.
EYE CANDY We have been loving this rocker on BG for years and it has lost none of its appeal. The Bloom Coco Baby Lounger, £80, is stylish, comfortable and totally at home in contemporary spaces. The beautiful form provides a smooth self rocking motion, it has a five-point safety harness and you can get lots of bright and bold seat pads. What’s not to love?
BUDGET If you’re looking for a well-priced, well-designed rocker, then RockOut may be the perfect solution at £45 from BabaBing. It has clean lines and is fuss free. It has two positions for lounging and feeding, and the legs can be locked to stop the rocking. Definitely more Clapton than Motorhead!
FUNCTIONAL The Stokke Bounce ‘N’ Sleep is a daybed and bouncer concept which is on my lust list. The bouncer is for playtime and when baby needs to snooze the built in mattress moves easily into the daybed. The daybed can be used with the bouncer in it, meaning baby stays up close to you (and away from the dog in our case!). £240 for both bouncer and day bed, but can be bought as separates.
HI TECH This Chicco rocker may be hi-tech, but it boasts minimal style. The bar introduces babies to music, nature sounds, melodies and coloured lights and there’s a soft toy which activates soothing sounds when pulled.  Plus you can connect your own Mp3 player via the connection and storage pocket on the side of the chair. £74.95, Kiddies Kingdom.
