I love a good crafts book that leaves you feeling inspired and adding to your spiraling list of must-do projects and ReCraft, a book on how to turn second-hand stuff into beautiful things by Buttonbag the craft kits peeps, really hits the spot.
Using a mix of photography and charming illustrations, authors and founders Sarah Duchars and Sarah Marks wow with fifty inspiring projects including recovering a lampshade in old paper patterns, a rug made from knitted t-shirts, breathing new life into old deckchairs, covering notebooks (already a fun pastime of mine) and a host of projects covering off toys, baby stuff, family, friends, and home.
This is a book you’ll keep going back to and with The Big C on the way, there’s more than a few ideas in here for gifts. If like me you have ‘stuff guilt’ from not getting around to eBaying, ReCraft will certainly give you a few ideas for breathing life into them. RRP £12.99 Available from Buttonbag, bookshops, and of course Amazon.
