I’d love to say that I totter around effortlessly in a pair of heels but admittedly I spend a lot of time in Shoes That Make Mothering Comfortable. So it’s trainers, flip flops, Roman styled sandals, and Birkenstocks.
I only wear quite bright trainers and they are usually DKNY but I could be lured over to Puma with their Ginza range which are perfect for mums on the go. They do them in black, silver, white, purple, and a variety of other colours and I spotted that in the US they have peeptoe versions! Boo, hiss! Where are ours?
Anyway, I am torn between this pair the purple pair of Ginza Dori’s. They feature patent leather and mesh on the uppers and they have something called ‘flexible tooling’ which is a way of saying that they have a comfortable, all day fit. Depending on which colour you want, you can buy them for £55 from the Puma Store (It’s a flash site so I haven’t done direct links but look at Women’s in the Ballerina section) or £45 from Ambrose Wilson.
I would definitely wear something like these if I was pregnant because I had a terrible time with comfy shoes when I was a pregnant and had to live in Crocs for the last 3 months… With colours like black, they’re ideal for work. Nobody will even cotton on that you’re wearing trainers! Hee hee!
