Pic n Mix seems to be all the rage these days and this time it’s over to furniture.
The Children’s Furniture Company have launched a customisable range of hand-built, eco friendly, bright, furniture which was recently launched on Grand Designs Live (I’m a huge Grand Designs fan).
Designed by Chris Codrington, you can take any piece from the range – from a bed, toy box, bedside table, desk, wardrobe, truckable bed, to a chest of drawers – and then have them individually sprayed in any combination of over 20 colours from 6 colour palettes.
Use only one colour on a piece of furniture or have the drawer, for instance, sprayed in a contrasting colour. There are also a range of handles to choose from.
The Children’s Furniture Company are one of the first in the UK to use safe water-based lacquers making these a really eco friendly buy.
As more and more parents shy away from conforming to traditional ideas for baby nurseries and children’s bedrooms, it’s great to see The Children’s Furniture Company speaking to parents who have particular tastes with budgets to match.
Prices in the Pic n Mix Range start at £150 for a bedside table up to £495 for a wardrobe and it takes 6-8 weeks for delivery.
